Kate, the heart and soul behind this culinary haven, is a seasoned professional in the industry with years of experience providing food for retreats centred on chakras, energy, and the art of balancing the body.

At The Mindful Chefette, we believe that cooking and eating is a form of self-compassion, and mealtimes are pivotal moments during intensive days of self-work and discovery. Kate, our Queen of thoughtful and beautiful goodness, brings her expertise to sprinkle magic, create, and cook mindful menus that fuel your retreat.

Meet Our Chefette

Kate Munro Boot

Cooking food, for Kate, is more than providing sustenance – it's a therapeutic tool, a form of self-expression, and a meals to nourish not just the body but also the mind and soul.

Having travelled the world through her career as a private chef and training in holistic therapies, Kate's philosophy revolves around cooking fresh ingredients, with intention and mindfully.

At retreats, she and her team use as much locally sourced ingredients as the time of year allows, and occasionally foraged ingredients, to create a sensory journey through her dishes.

Kate believes in the power of nature and chooses to create meals centred around plants. If meat or fish is included she uses sustainably and organically sourced ingredients. She joins retreats to add a touch of mindful magic to your experience.

According to Kate, retreats are vulnerable shared experiences, and powerful healing can happen simply sitting across the dinner table.
